The corporate learning market is blazing hot with millions of people using tools for learning and performance support on a daily basis. As the number of organizations that are digitizing their processes for knowledge sharing is ever-increasing most of the people responsible for digitizing training and knowledge-sharing content are pretty much beginners with limited previous experience in the field. Few are focused on them and few are guiding them. The authoring tools available are only focused on one type of format (Courses) that is meant to be shared in just one channel (The LMS) and consumed from primarily one device (The computer). They are not built for today's agile and collaborative environment, not adjusted for people with less experience, managing large amounts of content is close to impossible, and last but not least they are not helping the creators to be more productive.
